Business transactions pass through the EDI OptCenter with as much or as little handling as is required to meet each customer’s individual needs. In this configuration, transactions pass straight through in a simple In -> Out process with no on-network handling. Any kind of transaction can be collected and passed on, alleviating the necessity to make multiple external connections.
The complexity of our EDI solutions is robust and flexible and can vary in complexity based on our customer’s needs. We handle customized data as simply or as complexly, as necessary, to take the worries off of your shoulders.
Once the data has gone through the first pass-thru stage, it is then ready to be reformatted and normalized, based on a traditional mapping formula to fit the needs of the trading partner. From there the data goes through an enhanced reporting phase and is prepared for applications, including portal and external integrations. At this stage, regardless of the size of the data or account, external systems such as UPS are seeded and data is reformatted and funneled along to accounting, shipping, and other logistics systems.
When the data is transformed into a normalized transaction, it is standardized based upon stringently defined high standards.
